New Blog Series for 2014!

There are a lot of things I want to do to start off the new year right. This is one of them. I’m introducing a new series called “The Weekly Faith” to you.

As you may or may not know, I am a Christian. I haven’t been attending church much since I graduated 6 months ago but I did go this past Sunday. The message revolved around New Year’s Resolutions and how many people typically break their resolutions. However, the pastor suggested one resolution for all of us: Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom<span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(A)”> and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” I’ve decided to take his suggestion seriously and really try to seek Him first, for guidance in things such as patience, kindness, hope, and most importantly–love. I personally feel that in order to seek Him first, I have to expose myself more to Christian messages, videos, articles, books, music, and the Word. Currently I do listen to KLOVE, a Christian radio station, throughout most of my 2-hour round-trip commute but I want to know Him better so that I can be a better person toward others around me. I think that sharing pieces of Christian resources that I use will help keep me accountable and also to speak Life or encouragement to others.

This blog post series will include anything I want to share to help encourage you or anything that I felt was really helpful or eyeopening to me. It can be a Bible verse, a message I heard online, quotes from a book, a specific song…really anything. I hope this helps you grow closer to God this year as well! And if you’re not Christian and stumble upon my blog, feel free to ask any questions about anything I post or simply enjoy the little tidbits of Christian encouragement wherever you may be in life 🙂

P.S. All banners for this series are made by me and the photos behind them are taken by me. They are glimpses of the beautiful sceneries I’ve seen that I call God’s creation. I hope you like them because they have been created perfectly by God, captured permanently by me to share.

  Love,
