Hello guys!! This is a change of pace because I haven’t blogged about food in a while because I haven’t really made anything since I’ve been living with my parents. But I did make something amazing for lunch today and I thought I’d share.
2 hardboiled eggs
6 slices of honey ham/sandwich meat
1 handful of cherry/grape tomatoes
1 handful of salad mix/mixed greens
3 handfuls of chopped lettuce
These are just approximately the portions I used to make my salad. Feel free to mix up the portions to your liking and what you think will fill you up. I mostly just want to share the ingredients. The key ingredients are hardboiled eggs, meat, and avocado because those will help make you full. You can substitute the ham with grilled chicken or turkey breast or any other form of meat. Eggs are a great source of protein and it really only takes like 10-15mins to make, during which you can prepare the rest of the salad. Also, avocado is really filling. I’d put a whole avocado in there if you can really eat. Then, put the salad in a container that you can shake or a huge bowl where you can mix the salad around with the dressing. This helps you use less dressing and allows the dressing to spread everywhere. Note how little dressing I used for my salad, and that was actually a little too much! Will have to use less next time.
